Building More Than a Walkway
At 813 S. Union St., Kokomo Urban Outreach is completing a major step forward. We are transforming a portion of our current parking lot into a brand-new, safe green space where our kids can gather, learn, eat, and play.
They don’t walk in as champions. They walk in late, quiet, unsure. Then they show up again. And again. That’s where it starts. Now, they walk different. Everything earned. Brick by brick.
That’s a champion.
YOUR name can be the foundation they walk on. Through our partnership with Fundraising Brick, you can leave a permanent message of encouragement or a legacy for your family or business.
The Vision for the Park
This new space will include:
A Playground area specifically for our Mini-UP™ children.
An Outdoor Kitchen and dining/gathering space.
The Champions Way brick walkway honoring those who champion our youth.
The "20 Year Bench" — a landmark celebrating two decades of service to Kokomo youth

Frequently Asked Questions
When will the bricks be installed?
The walkway will be built after all 225 bricks are sold. We anticipate installation during the final construction phase in late 2026.
Who is this for?
This walkway is for Parents, Grandparents, Mentors, Teachers, Businesses, and Friends of the UP™ Program who choose to stand beside a young person.
