MiniUP™ - A foundation for work ethic, responsibility, and confidence
About the MiniUP™ Program
MiniUP™ serves our community’s youngest children, ages 3–9, and meets once a week to help kids build confidence, responsibility, and work ethic early — setting the foundation for future success.
Each MiniUP™ session centers on three core experiences that help children understand how the world works and how they fit into it.
Learn
Children attend a class focused on the 4 R’s: I am Respectful. I am Responsible. I am Reliable. I am Ready. Kids learn what these values mean and practice living them out in real-life situations.
Work
MiniUP™ kids take part in age-appropriate “work” such as tending gardens, sweeping floors, making cards, and building bird feeders. Through these activities, they learn that effort matters and that work has value. Each child earns $1 per week, introducing the connection between work and earning.
Eat Together
Every session includes a shared meal where kids practice table manners, conversation skills, and community — often trying new foods in a supportive environment.
What We Do
MiniUP™ is where children begin preparing for the UP™ Program. Through consistent structure and clear expectations, kids learn the importance of responsibility, effort, and positive behavior while building character through the 4 R’s.
By the time they reach age 10, children are expected to be ready to work, lead, speak up respectfully, and solve problems in positive, productive ways — equipped with confidence, skills, and a strong sense of capability developed through MiniUP™.
