MiniUP™ - A foundation for work ethic, responsibility, and confidence
About the Mini UP™ Program
Mini UP™ serves our community’s youngest children, ages 3–9. We meet once a week at our new facility at 813 S. Union St. to help kids build confidence, responsibility, and work ethic early—setting the foundation for a lifetime of success.
Our new dedicated Mini UP™ space was designed to give these young champions a place where they feel capable, valued, and ready to learn. Every session centers on three core experiences:
1. Learn
Children attend a class focused on the 4 R’s:
I am Respectful. I am Responsible. I am Reliable. * I am Ready. In our new classrooms, kids learn what these values mean and practice living them out through stories, play, and real-life situations.
2. Work
Mini UP™ kids take part in age-appropriate “work” designed for their development. From tending our new garden beds and keeping our facility clean to building bird feeders and crafting handmade cards, they learn that effort matters. Each child earns $1 per week, introducing the vital connection between work and earning.
3. Eat Together
Community starts at the table. Every session ends with a shared meal in our new dining area where kids practice table manners, conversation skills, and trying new foods in a supportive, family-style environment.
Building the Way of Champions
Mini UP™ is where children begin preparing for the full UP™ Program. Through the consistent structure of our new building and clear expectations from our mentors, kids learn the importance of responsibility and positive behavior.
By the time they reach age 10, these children are ready to work, lead, speak up respectfully, and solve problems in productive ways. They leave Mini UP™ equipped with a strong sense of capability and the character needed to be a champion in our community.
