The Raising Her UP™ Scholarship Fund is dedicated to helping young women in the UP™ Program take the next step toward a successful, self-reliant future. This scholarship provides direct financial support for qualified graduates who are ready to further their education and career aspirations.

Our Purpose & Goal

To empower and uplift young women by securing donations and community funding that make a real, lasting difference in their education, training, and career development.

What the Scholarship Covers:

  • Trade & Technical Schools: Vocational training and professional certification programs.

  • College & University Programs: Higher education tuition, fees, and academic support.

  • Employment Training Programs: Career readiness and specialized workforce skill-building.

The Traeshawn Weaver Memorial Scholarship

A Legacy of Heart, Grit, and Giving Back

Before he passed away at just eighteen years old, Traeshawn "Trey" Weaver made one final decision: he wanted his name to live on by helping other young people rise. Trey designed this scholarship himself—simple, practical, and full of heart—to ensure UP graduates have the real-world essentials needed to launch their careers and education.

How Trey’s Scholarship Supports Graduates:

  • $1,000 Higher Education Award: Set aside for college or technical school students to cover the real essentials that open doors—including textbooks, a laptop, or transportation to campus.

  • $500 Workforce Award: Created for graduates stepping straight into the workforce to cover job essentials—such as tools, uniforms, work boots, or transportation for that crucial first job.

Trey didn't get many years, but he used the ones he had to lift someone else's future. His scholarship is his legacy: determined, generous, and still giving today.
